Louisville Supports National Guard

Louisville Supports Nebraska National Guard

Spec. Evan Carter and the Nebraska National Guard will be receiving care packages from the
Community of Louisville, Nebraska. Sharon Pasco and the Louisville American Legion
Auxiliary collected over $200 to cover postage and supplies. The goal of the project was to
remind our servicemen that people at home do care and their job is very important. Evan is the
son of Kaline Carter, and is stationed in Iraq. Students in first, second and third grade at Peter
Sarpy Elementary, Offutt AFB, sent pictures and greetings.

Items collected included notebooks, pencils, bubble gum, candy, kool aide, micro-wave popcorn,
shirts, lip balm, toilet paper, dental floss, cookies, writing paper, books, crossword puzzles, fruit,
crayons, coloring books, face cream, deodorant, bibles, novels, magazines, and many more items.
