From Bill Tempelmeyer, our historian: " I came into possession of an 8 x 20 photograph taken in June 1929 of an "Ash Grove Lime & Portland Cement Co. Safety Meeting". In the photo there are about 140 [est.] employees and the photo was taken at the plant. I can identify only two of the men, including my father, however keep in mind the picture was taken two years before I was born. On the back of the photo there is a note: “publishers, please give credit to Scott Studio 1622 Vinton Omaha.” Could you post the photo on the web and ask anyone who recognizes any individual to let us know? Thanks. Bill Tempelmeyer"
