Please Help!

    • 3-5:30 PM - 1 person to help with gate/waiver signatures
    • 5-7:30 PM - 1 person to help with gate/waiver signatures
    • 5-7 PM - 1 person still needed to help serve food
    • 7:30 PM to dusk - 1 person still needed to help with gate/waiver signatures
    • May need people to help in shifts from 3 to 9 (?) with silent auction - still to be determined but if you're interested, let us know.  Better to have a crew lined up.
    • Sunday morning - We need a clean-up crew.  This is a perfect opportunity for a service opportunity.  If you know of a boy scout troop, girl scout troop, church group, etc. that would like to do a service project, let us know.  If we don't have any takers before Tuesday afternoon, we'll publicize in the Wednesday Louisville newsletter.
  • Volunteer -- More volunteers are needed to work many of these events – let Mandi Chubb (402-660-3495) know if you are willing to help and if you have a preference for the date/event. We’ll get the word out to the event chairs and put you to good use!
  • Monetary donations to pay for the meat for the July 25 evening events – contact Carol Ronnfeldt or Shellie Hudson
  • Volunteers to work the car and dog wash on August 29 – Call (402) 740-1412 to volunteer for a shift!
  • 2 big bottles of Lawry’s pork rub
  • 3 big bags of charcoal
  • 600+ paper napkins
  • 600+ settings of plastic silverware
  • Bottles of dog shampoo
  • Hard plastic kiddie pools for shampooing dogs (could be borrowed and returned)

Fundraiser For

On June 20, 2009, Margo Marino was in an accident in South Bend, Nebraska. She has undergone surgery and was in the Adult ICU for more than 10 days. Once she is released from the hospital she will be in rehab center for several months. That is why Indulgence Salon has decided to give 100% of our profits on Friday August 7th and Saturday August 8th to Margo!! We hope that you can help us support Margo with her long recovery. She is a very bright girl with a positive attitude, and we know that she would appreciate your generosity!! We understand that not all of you come to our salon, so we have decided to also put a donation jar in the salon from now until August 8th!! Thank you all for your compassion and generosity during this difficult time. It truly is a blessing!!!

If you have any questions please feel free to call us at

The World Changed Again
While You Were Not Looking an RJ45 Landed
If you are a Cable Company, I am so Sorry..
Okay, first I recognize that this site exists under a revocable Charter of Authenticity that requires that all content (including squirly Editorials) has to be 100% relevent to Louisville, Nebraska (see the CRAMES Model ) but this DOES address Louisville Issues in a round-about way.
We just went through the Analog/Digital Conversion and many local folks are still trying to figure out why the can no longer see their favorite Soap Opera without frozen X-Ray images, and "I am Sorry you have no Signal" messages.
It is really sad that those of us, that really ask so little (just want to watch Soap Opera) are the ones that get left behind. Ok, well the world is now 100% digital, so that is what we have to work with.
Something predicted, stunning, and permanent happened last week:
This Jack appeared for the very first time on TV sets for sale in this area.
That Sneaky Critter above is called by many names:
RJ45 - Network Port - LAN - Ethernet
It belongs on a computer, not a TV
That was the conventional wisdom 7 days ago.
Did somebody screw up?
Look at that Critter - See the Future of TV in Cass County
Many of you already use the Internet for national television programming from CNN , or ABC , or FOX . Many of you use sites like www.NetFlix.com or www.HULU.com for movies and various rich television content.
You can see the future, It is coming, it is all digital, it is getting better.
It is ALL internet based content, on phones, TV's everything.
But, What About Local?
Rural Nebraska has a Champion to make sure we are not left behind in this new all-Digital World New Hyper-local all digital content on demand
  Our Champion is:
based out of Louisville Nebraska of course
