City Council/LCC Advisory Board Combined Minutes- December 10, 2008

A joint meeting of the City Council of the City of Louisville and the Louisville Care Center Advisory Board was held on Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at 5:00 p.m. at the LCC Chapel.  Present were Mayor Alan Mueller, Council Members Roger Behrns, Clete Petrzilka, Bob Derby; Advisory Board Members Darlene Petrzilka, Candy McClun, Bill Nessen, Mary Tietjen and Jason Rohrs. Steve Sherman was absent. Mayor Mueller stated that the Open Meetings Act is posted.

Notice of the regular meeting was given in advance thereof by publication in the Plattsmouth Journal and by posting in three (3) public places as shown by the certificate attached to these minutes.  Notice was simultaneously given to all council members.  Their acknowledgement of receipt of notice and the agenda is attached to these minutes.  All proceedings thereafter were taken while the convened meeting was open to the public. 

Mayor Mueller called the meeting to order.

A discussion was held regarding policies and procedures. Some items discussed were: reporting of Care Center activities, payroll CD’s, cash flow in Long Term Care - fiscal management of facility assets, Advisory Board accountability and responsibilities for operations and City Council involvement and approvals. No council or Advisory Board action was taken.

Derby moves, Clete Petrzilka seconds to adjourn the meeting at 6:20 p.m. Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote.
