Flaming Idiots at Mahoney

  ==============================================================

"Flaming Idiots  at Mahoney

loftemahoney.jpg The best cure for the winter "blahs" just might be the energetic farce, "Flaming Idiots" opening at Mahoney State Park on
March 8.

The crazy comedy by Tom Rooney finds two brothers who are eager to see their new restaurant succeed.

They know that another popular eatery across town has been packed ever since a notorious mobster was shot there.

"Perhaps if someone could get murdered in their restaurant
they might see the same success!"

Poor judgement soon gives way to lunacy in this contemporary
farce with several colorful and memorable characters.

Cast members include  Mick Kovar of Lincoln, Kevin Colbert of Weeping Water, Jamion Biesterfeld, and Jim Knierim of Louisville, Stacy White, and Shari Hoelker of Omaha and Roland Kelley of rural Otoe.  Show dates are:  March 8,9, 14-16, 21, 28-30, April 4-6, 11-13, 18-20.

Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $6 for children.  A combination dinner/show ticket can be purchased for $20 adults and $10 children Admission can be purchased at the theatre on the night of the performance, but reservations are suggested

Please call the Mahoney State Park Administration Building
(402) 944-2523 ext 7122 to reserve your tickets

To-Do List - Leap Ahead
Everyone is Invited - (On Monday)

This weekend it's do or die!

The stupid phone system at WireBuilt Office 2nd and Main Street will finally get fixed!! I have been planning on fixing it for Months, I have been reminded a dozen times, I burned through a pad of sticky notes. Finally it is time for a show-down.

You can only put things off for so long, and then it is time to take the bull by the horns!!  However..I did promise myself I would take more time to relax, and appreciate the finer things in life.. dilema.. I have all Saturday afternoon free, I could go in and work on that stinken phone system - - or I could goof off.

When WireBuilt moved to Main Street, I was too cheap to get a decent, modern $6000 phone system, so I found one on EBay for $87 ( What a guy! ) and I forced it to work. It's just a nightmare to work on however. Company that made it, disavows any knowledge of it. I found a dusty manual that looks like the dead sea scrolls, smells moldy and  weighs about 11 lbs.

I invested 40 minutes last fall trying
to fix the problem and finally gave up.

For months now, all the phone LCD displays  have been displaying the wrong time. They have all been saying the time is an hour later than it really is. I could get in there Saturday afternoon, crack that manual and finally re-program it, or I could just ignore the problem and hope that it just goes away......

Decisions.... Decisions....
