First Day Hike at Louisville State Recreation Area
Kick off the new year with a First Day Hike along the lake and river at Louisville SRA. We’ll explore the trails along the Platte River while doing some winter birding.
Meet near the parking lot by the entry kiosk/park office.
We will provide binoculars, bird books and share some birding basics. Be sure to bring water, snacks and warm clothing. Dogs are welcome on a six-foot leash.
Note that programs may be altered due to weather and trail conditions. Check back for cancellations/modified schedules if severe weather advisories are in the area.
A valid 2024 park permit required for entry.
