A Tribute to Dan Henry
Someday I hope to get the whole history of Louisville's struggle to secure high quality, abundant water resources so that you can truly appreciate how fortunate we are.
This has been years, and years of hard work and negotiation on your behalf. Dan Henry shrugs off the credit that he deserves, but basically he made the one-handed catch in the end zone that won the game for Louisville. This win secures Louisville's control over tremendous abundant, clean fresh water.
So much clean fresh water, that we are soon going to be in a position to sell our surplus fresh water to neighboring Counties!!
Can you think of any greater gift for a Community to give it's residents, than a guarentee of abundant fresh water for generations to come?
That means prosperity, growth, health and Quality of Life
If you are a citizen of Louisville, your City won that for you!
If you are not, you might want to look into Property around here before it is all gone.
Supply and Demand,.. you know

SideBar: As a country we are feeling the humbling sting when we have to go hat-in-hand to beg oil from OPEC. Fast forward ten years, when American inovation and resolve has reduced this temporary pain, to a history trivia question, and the real Supply and Demand pain has shifted globally and permanently to Water. Hmmm, lets see now.. we have food, water, they have oil and sand, and well.. sand
We Win!

The list of heros in this battle for abundant fresh water includes Senator Pankonin, Mayor Mueller, the City Council, Home State Bank, and many more but the person that deserves the most credit in my estimation is Dan Henry
Soon we will see our new water system come on line, water will begin flowing from Park Property to the taps on Main Street Louisville and we will all get a big glass of victory.
I think we should have a Mayoral proclamation and that day should be Dan Henry Day in Louisville so that your great grandkids will ask "Who the Heck was That?" and they will also appreciate the One Handed Catch that guarenteed us
