Robin Hood - Kids in Tights at the Lofte!
For the third straight year, The Lofte Community
Theatre is proud to be hosting The Missoula Children's Theatre Summer Residency
Program. This year's show,an original adaptation of the classic,
"Robin Hood," is sponsored by the Home State Bank in
Louisville.
The Missoula Children's
Theatre (MCT), the nation’s largest touring children’s theatre, has been touring
extensively for 35 years now from Montana to Japan, and will visit more than 1,200
communities this year with 45 teams of Tour Actor/Directors. A tour team arrives
in a given town with a set, lights, costumes, props and make-up, everything it
takes to put on a play...except the cast.
The team will hold an open audition at the Lofte on Monday, June 16 at 10am and
cast 50-60 local students to perform in the production.
The show is rehearsed
throughout the week and two public performances are presented at 3pm and 7pm on Saturday, June 21.
Students must be preparing to enter the first
grade through the 7th grade. Those receiving a part in the play will be
notified immediately after auditions and rehearsals start at 12:30pm on that
same day. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be made available to the
actors, but generally practices will take place each day that week (June 17-21)
from approximately 10am to 2pm. Absolutely no acting experience is
required, but actors should be prepared to smile and have a good
time!
Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $5 for
children. Reservations can be made by calling the Lofte Box Office at

Years Back: Secret Agent Man
Before you get married, life is different..
I had originally planned a big singing carreer, or international espionage whichever was available after football season..
This Weekend, Springfield is having their gala annual event: Springfield Days! So why do we care?
They have extended an invitation to Louisville and that means, anyone could become the next Springfield IDOL!
This could be my big Chance!
Maybe, a record contract and I can finally ditch my daytime gig!!

I am mostly concerned that Cliffy Snodgrass might also be
planning to compete. He also knows all the Words, but he looks much better than me on stage.
His wife Pam, also has access to Hawaiian Shirts and all that Tropical Island castaway stuff too...
They could really give me some tough competition
