It started when Paul and Nancy McManis sold all their special Bird House inventory to Nancy and Ken Kratky for display in their new Timber View County Store , Envy Salon eyed the space and just completed their move into Terri Scholting's new building where the Birdhouses used to be at 132 Main Street. WireBuilt Company announced their move from 201 Main Street to:
129 Main Street Jeannie's Havenmakers Building
creating extra space for Unlimited Visions LLC and Imagine It! with Todd and Joel to expand into Snowdogs front lobby space 201 Main Street.

Louisville Wireless Initiative
For almost a year, WireBuilt Company experienced park visitors stopping by and asking, if they could please use our computers, or internet access to check their email, or locate something they urgently needed on line.
This experience was combined with State of Nebraska Economic Development folks urging small Cities and Towns to promote internet access, especially WiFi which is the most convenient wireless form as a way to cultivate tourism, and traveler commerce.
The BUILD Economic Development Subcomittee is about finding ways to support Louisville Commerce and this seemed to be a logical, and affordable initiative.
It was decided to encourage Main Street Businesses and the Louisville Library to participate, and to help them with questions, and guidance in order to make it simple. BUILD managed the initiative in order to make the offering consistant and credible. Especially given our Park Visitors.This effort continues, and we will help any Business or Community Organization that would like to offer WiFi to succeed. Given the amount of
attention recently , it is all the more valuable to attract visitors.
John Harrington got a little carried away, (imagine that), and created HiWay signs that were not approved or appropriate for HWY 50. and the State can't allow people making signs, and sticking them up on the HiWay - That is not a responsible practice.

The Bo Show
I am pretty sure, this was all my fault some how
I became a Corn Husker unexpectedly in 1997. At that time I was of the opinion that NCAA football was pretty pointless, based largely on my Golden Gophers alum background.
Real Football happens on Sunday.
What an education you all gave me!!!
The magnificent feeling of anticipation on Game Day, and the glowing pride that radiated from every single red-dressed Nebraska body was simply intoxicating! I guess it was the first time I had ever encountered such a feeling of extreme Community.
I drank the Kool-Aid and I liked it!!
It was like; "Man I am proud to be an American, but even better yet, I am a Nebraskan!"
..and, just wait until you see, what a real Football team is capable of:
We are the Big Red Machine - Fear Us!
Grrrrrrr!!!!
That was 1997 Remember?

Then came 1998
1998 25 years of tradition and excellence watched the retirement of our legendary Coach Tom Osborne, and I really didn't think much about it at the time. Hey, no big deal, this is Nebraska! Just being here pretty much guarantees excellent football, it is all that corn and fresh water.
Things were so great here, for 25 years and then I show up, and right down the tube it goes. I mean Solich, then ...Callahan ..ugh..
Last Year 2007, was the most depressing, embarrassing, infuriating display of incompetence .. Nebraska shirts were in the bargain bins. The red was disappearing from Game Day.
Ok, we needed a miracle, and we got one - back from retirement
NEW AD - Tom Osborne
The one that created the legacy of Nebraska Football
and with his leadership we convinced Bo Pelini to return to Nebraska as our head coach!!
That leads us up to this Saturday, 8/30 at 6PM
Oh, man - I want this to work
I want my Game Days Back!!!
