The Rat Race
Miles to Go Before I Sleep
This stupid Excercise Bike eats D-Cell Batteries like Popcorn
It makes no doggone sense..
Here I am, pedaling and pedaling, converting my bagel and snickers bar to caloric energy, heat, motion,.. why don't they just steal a little of that hard work and make enough electricity to run this foolish thing?
We are clever enough to run our cars on fermented switch grass, seems like they could strap a fuel cell on this thing somewhere.
No, they can't get past that Union Carbide lobby. Gotta buy a case of batteries and feed them to this beast so that the glowing dashboard can tell me how many bagels I burned off.
They provided a built in fan, that creates a little breeze if you work hard enough. A little treat. A cool breeze. But, hey that just eats up the batteries faster, so I get NO breeze, just gotta tough it out.
We have NetFlix so we get a steady supply of DVD's to make us run faster, or pedal longer.
Ok, then.. Lets see what we have this morning?
Cool Hand Luke!
Awesome!
That should make me feel much better about being sentenced to endless pedaling with no breeze.
Shakin' the Bush Boss!
This is the one, where he eats all those eggs, right?
