Guys and Dolls
Life After Texas

I am not going to say anything about last Saturday, because I turned the TV off the instant the game ended, and went to bed.

I did hear some nonsense about Texas deciding they wanted to play some more after the game ended, but I was already sound asleep. So congratulations Huskers!

Any ways....

Forget all that, Here is the important Stuff!!

The Lofte announced quietly their schedule for next year, and I am just in heaven!

The most fun, musical comedy ever written, is on their schedule and I am thrilled, and delighted!!!

guys_and_dolls.jpg

SIDEBAR:  I ran a follow spot from a Gantry, in Rarig Center at the University of Minnesota for 30+ performances of G&D back in the day, I absolutely love this show. It is the campiest, funnest of all the musicals in my humble estimation.

We know what Kevin Colbert and that group is capable of! We know the kind of characters that the Lofte can line up, to deliver an unbelievable and memorable performance, We know how the Sound of Music was one of the best performances of that show ever, including a 10 out of 10 stunning Maria performance by Jennifer Gilg

Now, just imagine, what they can do with this classic Guys and Dolls show that features lovable wise guy gamblers, hopeless floozys, save-a-soul mission types, bar hopping in Cuba, and exciting sewer scenes.

My money says, this will be the best show the Lofte has ever produced, and I am willing to bet ya double or nothing!

ya thinking, maybe. . Jamien as Sky Masterson?

Hey, . . . Im talking to YOUze!

(better get your tickets right now , before it is completely sold out!)
