Louisville Angel Tree 2009

Posted by Heidi Warner on Monday, December 14, 2009 - 04:36 pm:

Thanks to everyone that has taken an Angel from the
Angel tree at Home State Bank

There are 2 Angels left, so if you haven't picked one and want
to help, go on in. Other ways to help is by donating money, food, or personal items.

I have recieved a lot of the gifts back and I have picked some up to help myself get organized. There are still some that are not returned, please make sure you return them as soon as possible.

That way if one family has all their Angels returned,
I can get them delivered.

Thanks again for all the help you have given to the families. I
appreciate it and I'm sure on Christmas morning, the kids will really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

From the Editor
Death by Cookies
Getting Slowly SnickerDoodled

It has been a major life change moving home

We closed the Shop on Mainstreet and moved 4 phonelines, a bunch of computers and ourselves home to focus full time on our primary business.

I started a business called StandByVideo in 2003 and created a marketing vehicle called www.Zhaa.com in 2008
By moving the business home, we work longer, harder, if we are breathing, we are working. That is how ya do things in 2009

The result has been dramatic, in 2 ways:

1) Business is up 46% and we are now planning for major growth in 2010

2) Grocery budget is up 30% and the Fridge is never closed.

One of the subtle advantages of locking yourself in an office or cubicle 10 hours a day it's inconvenient to eat.

Not true at home!

I have  just snarfed 6 snikerdoodles, from a plate of probably 50.

tasty!!!

..better get some milk to make it a healthy snack.

Opooops, I was forced to grab another 5 snikerdoodles to synchronize -  (match up) with that new glass of milk. Gotta maintain some symmetry

Irina just got home she is planning to bake some Christmas macaroons tonight, and we ran out of sugar.

it is gonna be a late night. Major presentation for a new business partner in the morning. We definively have our plate full. Gonna need a full plate of Macaroons! Probably gonna need some re-laxed fit pants too. Thank goodness for videoconference meetings.

This just might damage my GQ modeling ambitions....
