End of School Year Activities - Louisville Schools
Fun Day Activities
Date: Friday, May 16
9:00AM Grandparents Coffee (elementary gym)
9:45AM Spring Music Program (high school gym)
11:00AM Lunch (sack lunch)
12:30PM Afternoon activities (high school track)
The last day of school has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 21 at 11:15AM.
On this particular day:
1.) There will be no lunch served
2.) The 5th grade students will be dismissed after their 5th grade graduation with their parents
3.) Students in grades 1-11 will be dismissed at 11:15AM

The Louisville Public Library is looking for an on-call person to cover for the librarian when she needs time off for sick days, vacations, conferences, and meetings.

May 17th is Free Park Entry and Fishing Day!
Mahoney State Park - Run Wild 10K Trail Run "A Run for Wildlife" Dressing like a wild animal is encouraged! Registration proceeds support the Nebraska Wildlife Conservation Fund. View/ download / share the Run Wild Event Flyer.
Be sure to plan to stay for the day after the Run Wild Event at Mahoney State Park. Many of the park activities are now open on weekends prior to the Memorial Day weekend. Plan to make a day of it at Mahoney State Park, activities open include: Free fishing is available at Baright and CenturyLink lakes with kids fishing clinic in the morning. Horse trail rides, paddle boats, miniature golf & driving range, craft center and disc golf are open.
Platte River State Park -Free fishing clinic at Owen Landing from 9 AM - Noon. Snack bar and gift shop will be open. Restaurant will be offering steak night menu from 5 PM - 8 PM.

Animals Available for Adoption
at the Plattsmouth Animal Shelter
Minnie is a 5yr old spayed female Coonhound. she is sweet and loveable. likes other dogs and good with kids too. She is a gentle dog. Needs help with her housebreaking, but kennel can be supplied with her.
Kittens: 9wks old and sweet as can be.
Adoption fee on all animals is $60. This includes spay/neuter and vaccinations.
Adult Cats are always a free adoption to Senior Citizens!
All adopted animals can be microchipped for an additional $10.99
