The sign is on order and should be delivered to the district in the next few weeks. Once the district has received the new sign they’ll get it installed as soon as their work schedule and the weather permits. The sign will replace the existing “Truck Permit Station” sign (see below) which is slated for removal. The new sign will read “Louisville Exit 440”.

Beginning with the Wed 5/21/2014 Newsletter all of the Communities will be able to post, buy, sell ads for general merchandise such as mowers, baby cribs, cars, computers and Real Estate.
We especially hope that the classified ads will be used to post Jobs, look for positions, and post special events, birthdays, church events and Garage Sales.

Certainly there are lots of places on the Internet to post ads, but I know that some folks are uncomfortable with using EBay or Craigs List - this is just your neighbors and should be a bit less scary.

Step 1: you do need to have an account, and an email address to manage your ads. You will be notified to renew your ad, you can change info, pricing, and pics as long as you have this account.

Step 2: create an ad, indicate if it is Elmwood, Eagle, Louisville and Alvo and post it

Step 3: wait for approval. We will approve ads as close to immediately as possible. We need to take a quick peek and make sure that it is a real ad, and if anything needs fixing we will fix it.

Step 4: post it to Facebook if you like!

Ads will now show everywhere, regardless if it was posted in Elmwood or Alvo. Our number one request was to post once, and make it visible everywhere. Ads will also be Goggle/Twitter searchable as well as location, travel directions searchable.

So, get cracking! Create that account, and post everything in your garage and basement!
