The Louisville Jaycee Foundation will once again have an Angel Tree set up at Home State Bank in Louisville to help families in need this Christmas.
Angels will be available at the bank starting Monday 24th, all you have to do is ask someone working at the bank for an Angel. Purchase the gift that is listed, wrap the gift and return to the bank with the Angel taped onto the gift. I will deliver these gifts shortly before Christmas.
The Tree will be put up December 2nd.
Donations of hats, mittens, scarves are also appreciated.

CHRISTMAS BELLES at the LOFTE
  December 6, 7, 12-14 & 19-21
Tickets $19

If you saw the first show this season, you'll remember the hilarious southern sisters who were trying to pull-off a niece's wedding in little Fayro, TX.  In "Christmas Belles" you'll see the squabbling Futrelle sisters trying to do the same with their church's Christmas program.  If you didn’t see the first show of the season, you aren’t missing out.  You’ll still have fun with this trio of talented (but crazy) women.

Poor Frankie is carrying twins and weeks past her due date.  Her long-suffering husband is trying to play Santa Claus while passing a kidney stone.  Hot-flash suffering Honey Rae is trying to keep the Tabernacle of the Lamb's Christmas program from spiraling out of control and Twink is in jail for inadvertently setting the town on fire.  Their hilarious holiday journey through a misadventure-filled Christmas Eve is guaranteed to bring joy to your world!

Fun for the whole family!

 The Elmwood Holiday Extravaganza

is Saturday, Nov. 29th

 Holiday Extravaganza Schedule

Parade of Homes 2

RCL Sunday Skating

=================================================

Beginning with the Wed 5/21/2014 Newsletter all of the Communities will be able to post, buy, sell ads for general merchandise such as mowers, baby cribs, cars, computers and Real Estate.
We especially hope that the classified ads will be used to post Jobs, look for positions, and post special events, birthdays, church events and Garage Sales.
Certainly there are lots of places on the Internet to post ads, but I know that some folks are uncomfortable with using EBay or Craigs List - this is just your neighbors and should be a bit less scary.
Step 1: you do need to have an account, and an email address to manage your ads. You will be notified to renew your ad, you can change info, pricing, and pics as long as you have this account.
Step 2: create an ad, indicate if it is Elmwood, Eagle, Louisville and Alvo and post it
Step 3: wait for approval. We will approve ads as close to immediately as possible. We need to take a quick peek and make sure that it is a real ad, and if anything needs fixing we will fix it.
Step 4: post it to Facebook if you like!
Ads will now show everywhere, regardless if it was posted in Elmwood or Alvo. Our number one request was to post once, and make it visible everywhere. Ads will also be Goggle/Twitter searchable as well as location, travel directions searchable.
So, get cracking! Create that account, and post everything in your garage and basement!
