Ralph Meister writes:
On a sharp cold Feb. Sunday the Springfield and the area community pride was shown again. Our goal was 42 units and we collect 43 units. Once again I want to say thanks to all who donated and the people who attempted to donate, we can't forget about the local merchants and fire dept. for there part in making the drive a success. With the # of units collected we have helped 129 people in need of blood.
Once again thanks to all who were involved.

VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION ANNUAL MEETING
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22ND AT 2PM
Attention Lofte family and friends! If you’ve painted, acted, torn a ticket or made a donation over the past few years, we want to celebrate you! This year the Lofte’s Volunteer Recognition Celebration will be held on Sunday, February 22nd at 2pm in the afternoon. After holding the event on a Saturday night for the past few years, we’ve decided to adjust the schedule just a bit to see if even more people can join us. With the adjusted time, we will not be serving a full meal, but we will have cake and refreshments to celebrate our 10th season in the new building. We’ll also be looking forward to the 2016 season announcements. 2016 will be the Lofte’s 40th year!
The Lofte’s Board of Directors and Chairman Jeff Johnston will also present the Lofte’s current financial information and announce the three most valued volunteers in 2014.
No RSVP required. Please just join us for some fun and fellowship!

Maddie is currently at St. Jude's research hospital in Memphis, TN. This benefit is to help her family with mounting expenses. Our thoughts are with Maddie and her family during this difficult time.
