Mail Box and Newspaper Box Damage
The Mayor has asked that we encourage folks to report recent mailbox and paperbox vandalism in town.

Our Mayor Henry has been in contact with the county attorney and anyone who has damage from this incident should contact the county attorney or city hall.

The county attorney is planning to ask for restitution as a part of the sentencing for the individual responsible.

Also, any elderly individuals or those otherwise unable to get their mailbox or paperbox back up should contact city hall. The City had someone volunteer to assist those who need help with the labor.

We have set up an easy contact form for you to use, just Click Here: http://louisvillenebraska.com/city/mailboxdamage.htm

or send an email to the City at City@LouisvilleNebraska.com

Okay, and now an encouraging word for our good friend Brett Drake:

We are getting ready to offer a Ventures program for the Louisville area, which would include Cedar Creek.

What is Ventures? It is a young adults group for boys and girls 14 (completed 8th grade) - 20. The youth decide what they would like to do ...like scuba, cave exploration, white water rafting, rapelling, mountain climbing, etc. Then we plan the activity and any training needed ahead of time.

We are looking at a Rapelling training and a Canoe trip before fall ends. All we need is teens who want to help make this work.

Meantime we also plan other events throughout the year.

Interested feel free to email me, and I will tell you more. Also there will be an information / sign up night July 23rd, 7pm at the Louisville Senior Center. This meeting is for the youth and parents. Parents must sign the Youth up, Youth, if your parents can't attend and you want to come out and hear about it, you are welcome to attend. If you decide you want to join Ventures, we will set up a time to meet with your parents.
