What's New?

July 2004

...and low it came to pass that on that 9th day of June,  in our year 2004,..
Mayor Pankonin declared...

...Let it be proclaimed, that on July 6, July 13, July 20 and July 27, the City of Louisville shall be referred to as Lewis & Clarkville.

...and the City Council nodded and the City Scribe put her hand to paper and it was done....
...and John Plucknett and the hard working minions of B.U.I.L.D. saw that it was good....

What the Cat Saw...
Hi Hardware Cat Fans!

Okay, I Just can't Get a Break!!
Weeks of planning, and discussing, and calling, and printing up brochures and banners..
It was my dream come true!!

I really thought that I was un-appreciated, until I overheard them talk'in about re-naming the town after me!!
That 'ol John, and Larry, and Lynn, Maureen and somebody named Spook... I guess it was all worth it!

I can't tell you how many hours I have spent watching that paint-shaker, and letting people pat me on the head. It is not easy being the feline ambassador for Louisville, and being charming ALL THE TIME!
Turns out the entire country is gonna give me some special recognition!! (MeeeOow!!)

Then the bad new, starts to trickle down to my fuzzy ears...

First I find out I have to share this honor with somebody named, Lewis. Near as I can tell never did a dang thing to be famous, then I see the banner that they are carrying down the street..

it says...  Lewis and CLARK 'ville

What happened to Lewis an' CAT 'ville like it was sposed to be??

Guess I am gonna just go watch that paint shaker and sulk...

Having fun, and Watch'in the Shaker south of the river....
