August 5, 2004Celebrating Denny the Barber!
For those of us that did not know, our home town Barber Dennis Barnes suffered a heart attack recently, and we are all very relieved to know that Denny the Barber is okay, and now back cutting hair and milking cows.
Posted by Lynn Berner:
Denny has been a very important part of our Business Owner Community AND has LOADS of friends who care about him and his family.
He will be working part time in the Barber Shop. His hours will be 10:00 A.M.-12:00P.M. and 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. on Monday thru Friday (The shop is closed on Thursdays) and Saturdays 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M.
Stop in to get that haircut or to just wish him the best!
Welcome home Denny!!
Editors Note: This is such a good point. Lets take time to appreciate folks in our families and in our Community. Everything happens so quickly anymore, and suddenly things and people we just take for granted, are gone.
Enjoy our friends and neighbors and celebrate the good things we have, while we have them!
Okay, Fair is fair..
You have been watching your cholesterol and carbs and torturing yourself for long enough!! It is time for soul food like; a Pronto Pup!! and some Cotton Candy!!
(or at least watch the grand kids eat some)
