The Feast of the Long Blades..

Pure Louisville!
I had an authentic Louisville Week, and it was just glorious!
Owing to the recent frequent rain, (and my laziness), the lawn was completely out of control.
Leaving the office late last Friday gave me precious little time to make a dent in 3 acres, before nightfall and the forecast of more rain in the morning.

As I bounced along in the mighty Craftsman I heard a strange low droning sound, and I looked over to see my good neighbor Bill coming to the rescue. Over the hill he flew like the calvary on his Cub Cadet riding mower. He recognized my predicament and knew tomorrow was a Huskers Game Day, so he pitched in and we knocked down those 3 acres before the sunset, flying in formation. Mano-e-Mano-e-Mowers.

My wife was so impressed by our performance she called Good 'Ol Jeff the Butcher, at our Main Street Jack & Jill and Jeff described a Rolled Rib Roast for our feast, and he made it up just perfect. In order to do such a roast justice, we needed to have a Hickory Wood fire to rotisserie
that Bad Boy, and Good 'Ol Wayne at www dropped off a couple bundles of Hickory.

Such a feast we had! It just could not have been any better.
(Bills wife Michelle puts french fried onion rings in her Green Bean casserole!)

This is a great time of year, and those of us lucky enough to live here have a lot to be thankful for.
