Tim Upton Tragic Hunting Accident
Last Saturday
Contributed by Robert Heist on Oct 31, 2007 9:40 AM
Tim Upton Update:

Tim Upton suffered a brain aneurysm last Saturday evening while deer hunting in the Louisville area.  His condition is stable after surgery on Monday.
He is young and strong so we are all praying for a full recovery.

He is at The Nebraska Medical Center
ICU 8th Floor, 42nd & Dewey Ave, Omaha, NE 68102

My Comment from: John Harrington
For Louisvillians that know Tim, Randy Upton (previously of Blakes Pharmacy), or Cindy (previously Blakes Floral) I am certain a card or flowers from Blakes would be very appropriate and appreciated at this difficult time

Louisville is Disappearing!
There is something happening to the population of Louisville, it is shrinking!
Not in terms of head count, ...but pounds!
Several of our folks are loosing weight as a result of disciplined exercise and healthy eating. The ranks of the Louisville Walking Ducks have grown, and now looks like a nightly protest march on the lakes.

Psssst!..  Don't tell nobody, but our own City Mom,
Dee has lost a STUNNING 50lbs! (
that ain't easy! )

That is a truly remarkable accomplishment for anybody,
and she deserves to be congratulated!

If you would like more information, or just want to join the bunch.

Raking Rocks for Fun
If someone was forcing me to do this, I would be calling Amnesty International pleading for mercy. Half a precious Saturday, A Day Off, spent with a rake gathering blisters, and wayward white rocks and briskly flicking them back to the crushed limestone that makes my driveway.

Metal Rake - - - $7 Dollars
Thick Leather Gloves - - - $12.50
2 Tubes of Ben Gay - - - $11.95

Nicely Manicured Driveway...... Priceless!!

There is something so special about your very own dirt.
It that makes you do strange stuff!

We had a grand old time digging holes for those red reflectors that mark the edge of the driveway. This year, we are getting smarter and they are 3 feet off the edge of the driveway. Last year, Bill or Tim would take those reflectors out with the first plowing, and we would not find them until spring. (Kinda defeats the purpose)

I was so inspired by these gals walking, working out, eating smart and getting in shape.. I set down my beer and took out a pad of paper. That was the moment that the muse struck and I invented a diet! Not just any diet, the diet to end all diets!!!

What would I call it?.. I know!!

the Odd Diet!
www.OddDiet.com
I decided I could  concentrate all the combined expertise of the civilized multi-billion dollar fitness industry into the ultimate
the final diet solution...

Ok, Here is how it works:
When you get up in the morning, the first thing you do is glance at the Calendar. Take the days date, and divide by 2

If the result is an integer, (no remainder), forget breakfast, all you get is water and exercise until the date advances by one.

If the date divided by 2, results in a remainder -
Chow Down!!
Ribs, Pecan Pie and Muffins, Frozen Snickers Bars - Go Nuts!

So, there you go! Another Louisville First!
not intended to treat any disease, patent pending, all rights, reserved, any resemblance to any person living or dead is just a fluke, so get over it...
